Wall Street intern ditches the industry to focus on porn

As the saying goes, if you work on Wall Street, you’re either getting screwed or screwing someone else. Veronica Vain, née Paige Jennings, a former financial services intern turned aspiring porn star, is literally doing both.

In an interview with BroBible, the 23-year-old Jennings has revealed that she left her job as an intern at a Wall Street asset management firm to pursue a career in the porn industry. This is how she announced her career transition on her Twitter bio:

I just left a job on Wall Street for a porn career because I can’t stop masturbating at work and have an affinity for jizz showers. Is that cool with you?

I mean, if you wanted to let people know you were changing jobs, you could’ve just updated your workplace information on your LinkedIn profile, but sure, that works too.

A recent graduate of the University of Florida, Jennings was employed as an intern on Wall Street from June to January 2015. “Intellectually speaking, I love financial analysis and thinking,” she told BroBible of her decision to transition from finance to porn. “However, I found that I was not cut out for the politicking required to be successful, and sitting at a desk for eight or more hours a day really sucks the life out of you… So I started exploring other options that weren’t so stringent structurally.”

Jennings decided to kick off her porn career last month, by tweeting nude selfies from inside the firm’s bathroom as part of her application to the porn reality show Sex Factor. (While Jennings later deleted the NSFW photos, NewsCult has screengrabs of them.) Concerned that her employers wouldn’t look too kindly on an intern taking nude photos in their office, Jennings says she quit her job at the firm before they discovered what she was up to.

“My boss’s boss called me over the phone with an HR lady. I had a pretty good reputation intellectually, and this executive was aware of that,” she told BroBible. “However, he obviously couldn’t have me coming back to the office when likely just about everyone had seen me half naked online. I definitely didn’t expect that to happen though considering nothing online was tagged to my real name.”

While Jennings told BroBible she was legally bound not to reveal the name of the firm, Business Insider has since reported that she was employed by Lazard Asset Management, which describes itself on its website as “a trusted advisor to governments, financial institutions, public and private retirement plans, and individuals around the world.” Lazard did not return the Daily Dot’s requests for comment.

Since leaving her job, Jennings has been pursuing her porn career with a vengeance. But she doesn’t want to abandon her finance background just yet, if this NSFW selfie of herself reading the finance reporting classic Barbarians at the Gate is any indication.

Next week, she’s heading down to Las Vegas to audition for The Sex Factor, the porn reality show hosted by the Duke porn star Belle Knox. “She is confident, smart, hot and well spoken,” Sex Factor creator and producer Buddy Ruben said of Jennings in a text to the Daily Dot. “What more could I ask for in an aspiring porn star?”

Ruben also mentioned that Jennings has disclosed her employment information to Sex Factor producers, and her story will likely be incorporated into the show. No word on whether or not she’ll win the show’s $1 million prize, but if the judges ask her to explain the capital gains tax, she’s got it in the bag.
