We’ve all been there. Too drunk, really hungry, and desperate for some fucking mac and cheese. But one kid took it way too far at the UConn student union this weekend.
The nine-minute video begins with the student already in an altercation with a manager, who is refusing his order of bacon jalapeño mac and cheese, and ends with the kid in handcuffs. The incident appears to have been set off by the bro in question drinking inside the cafeteria, but overall it’s a glorious example of privilege intersecting with drunk logic. However, it does leave us with a lot of unanswered questions.

There is something quite satisfying about this entitled jerk’s pained cry of “I’m fuuuuuuucked” toward the end—a realization far more bros in his situation should have. Though maybe it’s just because it looks like he’s been arrested before.

Just a reminder that funny YouTube videos can have real consequences. Luke Gatti, the 19-year-old UConn student made famous for his drunken demands for mac and cheese, was arrested and charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass for the incident. Though a UConn spokeswoman wouldn’t comment on the specific punishments from the school, it appears that Gatti has been expelled, if these tweets and Snapchats are to be believed. And of course they should.
