Ron Paul’s second place finish in the New Hampshire primary was not good enough for his supporters.

Early this morning the Twitter accounts for artists Nicole Scherzinger, No Doubt, and Rise Against were hacked by a supporter of the 76-year-old Texas representative. Each of the accounts tweeted messages endorsing Paul, and one message posted on No Doubt’s account even linked to his donation page, reported Rolling Stone.

“Our Twitter account was hacked last night. No political endorsements at this time. Love, No Doubt,” tweeted the groups account about three hours ago.

“We were hacked. As you would all assume, We DO NOT support Ron Paul,” tweeted Rise Against.

Scherzinger has yet to tweet about the hack.

Twitter endorsements for Paul have come under scrutiny after singer Kelly Clarkson tweeted her support for the representative about two weeks ago.

Clarkson’s endorsement started a firestorm on Twitter where she tried to explain why she supported Paul after reports that he head authored newsletters in the 1970s and 90s rife with absurd tirades tinged with racism and homophobia. Twitter account @RP_newsletter has been tweeting out excerpts from the newsletter over the last two weeks.
