President Donald Trump has frequently been accused of gaslighting the American people, and nowhere has that been more apparent than his stances on the border wall: that it would be paid for by Mexico, that it would run the length of the border. Hell, that it would even be a wall.
Today, the president—as the debate over shutting down the government versus funding his wall raged—tweeted this.
