It doesn't appear that she has any experience in housing, but she has plenty organizing Trump family events.

President Donald Trump has reportedly appointed his family’s trusted planner to oversee federal housing programs in New York and New Jersey.

Lynne Patton, who has worked on several Trump events in the past (including Eric Trump’s wedding), has been tapped to lead the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Region II, the New York Daily News reports.

Patton, who the News claims has no housing experience, has worked with the Trump family since 2009 and served as an “event planner.”

According to Patton’s LinkedIn profile, she has worked with the Trump Organization, the Eric Trump Foundation, and Trump’s presidential campaign. Her photo on LinkedIn shows her smiling next to Trump in what appears to be the Oval Office.

“Responsible for the planning of all major fundraising events for [Eric Trump Foundation] and acquisition of celebrity entertainment and high-end donations,” a description of her job reads.

Patton also gave a speech at the Republican National Convention last year where she praised Trump as the “law-and-order” leader the country needed.

On the page she also lists that she obtained a juris doctorate degree in 2000 from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut. However the school told the Daily News that she did not graduate from the university.

Patton tweeted on Thursday night that she “#NeverLied” in response to the Daily News article.

As the head of the Region II Division, Patton will be responsible for distributing money to public housing authorities.
