Here at the Daily Dot, we swap GIF images with each other every morning. Now we’re looping you in. In the Morning GIF, we feature a popular—or just plain cool—GIF we found on Reddit, Canvas, or elsewhere on the Internet.

Mitt Romney, rider of the Republican range, and Barack Obama, POTUS of the Great Plains, are beating the last bushes in America, foaming at the mouth over the final furlongs in the race for president.

If only it were a dance off.

Wait, what?

Politics has been called “show business for ugly people,” so why not? Everyone else has joined the “Gangnam Style” gang, and with faith in the electoral process itself eroding as quickly as you can say “the 99 percent,” many would say it doesn’t make much difference how you choose the leader.

Artist Gustavo Fajardo isn’t afraid to play with the idea. His GIF of Obama and Romney in a “Propaganda Style” gallop-off has made explicit what all too many were already thinking.

Posted to his Tumblr Oct. 6, it has garnered 326 notes and this remark from fellow artist Ian Brooks: “Gangnam style really is an effective metaphor for politics when you think about it: a lot of people yelling at other people’s butts and random explosions. It’s politics as usual with this amusing mashup from artist g1ft3d.”

For bonus points, saddle up and tackle James Carville’s political diatribe … And the Horse He Rode in On, or watch tonight’s vice presidential debate to see how Joe Biden and Paul Ryan do the dance.

Ride on.
