‘Caronavirus’ trends after Trump misspells coronavirus

Soon enough 'caronavirus' was trending.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday misspelled “coronavirus” in a tweet where he blamed news networks for making the virus look “as bad as possible,” causing markets to downturn.

The president wrote “caronavirus” in a tweet on Wednesday morning instead of “coronavirus.” He also announced that he will hold a press conference on Wednesday evening.

“Low Ratings Fake News MSDNC (Comcast) & @CNN are doing everything possible to make the Caronavirus look as bad as possible, including panicking markets, if possible. Likewise their incompetent Do Nothing Democrat comrades are all talk, no action. USA in great shape! @CDCgov…..” Trump wrote in a series of tweets. “I will be having a News Conference at the White House, on this subject, today at 6:00 P.M. CDC representatives, and others, will be there. Thank you!”

As has happened with many of the president’s misspellings in the past, the typo began trending online.
