Michael Cohen, the longtime lawyer for President Donald Trump, once again denied that he had ever been to Prague during testimony before Congress on Wednesday.
Cohen has long denied that he had been to Prague, despite reports in late 2018 that a cell phone traced to him was pinged at cell towers there in the summer of 2016. This was around the same time that the so-called Steele Dossier said he met with Russians about the 2016 election.
The president’s longtime lawyer denied the reports in late 2018.
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) asked Cohen directly if he had ever been there during his testimony before the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday afternoon.
Once again, Cohen said he had never been to the city.
“Have you ever been to Prague?” the lawmaker asked.
“I’ve never been to Prague,” Cohen responded, later adding: “I’ve never been to the Czech Republic.”

Cohen’s first denial of never having been to Prague became a meme when he tweeted a picture of his passport.
