Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) told BuzzFeed’s AM to DM on Wednesday that he thinks the “pee tape” of President Donald Trump is real.

The “pee tape,” which was mentioned in the so-called Steele Dossier, allegedly shows Trump in a hotel room during a trip to Moscow where prostitutes urinate on a bed. The tape’s possible existence apparently drove the president to ask former FBI Director James Comey to investigate it to assure First Lady Meliana Trump it wasn’t real.

It has since become the subject of many Twitter jokes.

When asked about the existence of the tapes—which were brought up during the president’s controversial press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin—Clyburn seemed pretty sure the salacious tape exists.

“Oh yes I do,” Clyburn said when asked about it. “I have not seen anything that would make me come to any different conclusion. I just think that you have to… whenever you see smoke, you need to investigate to see whether or not there is a fire causing it, how big the fire is, whether or not we’re going to put it out or let it burn. There’s a lot of smoke here, and when you see this much smoke there is fire somewhere and you have to put it out.”

He continued:

“We cannot allow it to continue to smolder because before you know it, we’ll all go up in flames if we do.”

Clyburn’s comment echoes Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) who also told BuzzFeed that he believes “something like” the “pee tape” exists.
