How do foreign visitors feel about Chinese President Xi Jinping? Let’s take a look at this totally natural and unscripted video starring a group of international students in Beijing.
The video, produced by the official Chinese Communist Party newspaper People’s Daily, features clips of students from other countries discussing their obviously very genuine feelings about Xi Jinping.
“Handsome. Yeah, he’s super charismatic,” says one girl.
“Like a brother, maybe I can say like a father,” says another student.
As propaganda videos go, this one is not particularly subtle.
