Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) endorsed the political views of Cardi B, the popular rapper from the Bronx, on Wednesday morning.

Sanders retweeted a quote where Cardi B called former president Franklin Delano Roosevelt the “real ‘Make American Great Again’ president” for his ushering in of Social Security benefits, which was shared by Social Security Works.

In the post, Cardi B says FDR was “the real ‘Make America Great Again’ president because if it wasn’t for him, older Americans wouldn’t even get Social Security.”

This seemed to strike a cord with Sanders, who retweeted the quote and added:

“Cardi B is right. If we are really going to make America great we need to strengthen Social Security so that seniors are able to retire with the dignity they deserve.”

While the former Democratic presidential primary candidate has advocated for Social Security in the past, his endorsement of Cardi B caught the eye of people online. Some even began floating the idea of a Sanders / Cardi B presidential campaign–because of course.

It’s not entirely impossible. Cardi B has also been vocal about U.S. tax policy.
