Between Zoom family meals and other coronavirus-related restrictions, Thanksgiving may look a little different this year. But that doesn’t mean there can’t be new traditions. One TikToker’s holiday gathering was fully inspired by Cardi B’s “WAP“—and the artist herself approved.
TikTok user @bkrone posted a video on Wednesday showing off the feast with dishes all named after “WAP” lyrics.
The menu included “macaroni in a pot,” “gobble me swallow me” (turkey), “drip down the side of me” (gravy), “make it cream, make me scream” (mashed potatoes), and “extra hard and extra large” (corn). And for dessert: “I let him taste it, now he diabetic,” aka pumpkin pie.
The TikTok was accompanied by Cardi B’s “WAP” feat. Megan Thee Stallion, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became an instant summer hit.
In less than a day, the TikTok received over 5 million views.
After the video was shared on Twitter on Thursday, Cardi B caught wind of the WAPsgiving dinner. “Wait a damn minute,” the rapper tweeted with a string of emoji. “Y’all just don’t stop.”
TikTok user @bkrone did not immediately respond to the Daily Dot’s request for comment.
