Hillary Clinton supporters and anyone who is terrified of a Trump presidency are finding ways to thank her for her service. In Brooklyn, New York, outside of Clinton’s campaign headquarters, children covered the sidewalk in chalk messages of encouragement and protest.

Supporters are also minding their manners by sending Clinton thank-you notes. The movement appears to have started with writer Heidi Heilig and quickly spread.

It’s gestures like these that illuminate just how Clinton won the popular vote. Yeah, remember how that happened?
