The woman who was dubbed “Taco Truck Tammy” after threatening to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on taco truck workers is now walking back on her comments and saying she’s “scared” for her safety, according to Yahoo Lifestyle.

A video shows two taco truck employees, who were parked outside her house in the Dallas suburbs, to “please leave.” After they told her to “go back inside,” she threatened to report them to immigration officials.

“Okay babygirl … I’ll call ICE,” she said.

The video of the incident, which was filmed by one of the employees, went viral on social media. The woman, who was identified as “Valerie,” told WFAA she is now afraid that angry social media users will find her home.

“I’m concerned with my safety right now,” she said. “My concern right now is I’m viral… and my address… and I have a family.”

She said the video doesn’t show the incident in its entirety, and that she was frustrated with construction taking place next door to her house. Seeing the taco truck was apparently her breaking point.

“There’s all the honking going on with the taco truck. There’s the hammering, and the beeping,” she said. “I just walked out and I said, ‘You guys can’t be here. This is a residential area, you guys need to move.’ It was probably that curt.”

She said she now regrets the way she worded her threats.

“It was an unfortunate comment. I mean, I wish I’d used my words better,” she said. “It’s taught me to watch my words, maybe a little more carefully.”

On Twitter, commenters weren’t quick to forgive.

“Taco Truck Tammy” joins other white woman like “Permit Patty,” “BBQ Becky,” and “Cornerstone Caroline,” who have all gone viral after threatening to call law enforcement on people of color.
