“Summer Walker out here in 2020 makin these ‘jokes’ knowin this sh*t ain’t funny,” wrote one user, a transgender woman named Princess. “We need to talk more about how we treat folks with HIV/AIDS cause a lot of y’all don’t use Google and can do better.”

HIV positive activist Dana White said she’s been, “living with HIV since Summer Walker was 11 years old and longer than her career will last.”

My immune system is stronger than her live performances,” she wrote. “Good morning.”

Other users just commented on the offensiveness of her remarks.

“Let this Summer Walker using HIV/AIDS as an insult be yet another reminder how using specific demographics in anger to trash others makes YOU look worse than the person who wronged you,” wrote one user. “She was right to be mad, but now she looks ignorant af.”
