Scrabble isn’t so much a game as it a way of life. Families play it for hours, people compete in tournaments. It can make relationships: It can break relationships.

A new 80-second short film, produced by Lola Madrid, a Spanish creative ad agency, shows how letters bring people together. They creatively used anagrams—the rearranging of the letters of a word or phrase to produce a new word or phrase —to tell a modern love story.

While this doesn’t have a whole lot to do with Scrabble, other than the whole letters thing, it’s a cute new take on boy meets girl. Or, rather, pineapple meets apple pie.
