Porn stars settle squirting debate

It’s all about the flavor profile.

When parody-porn company Woodrocket (Donald Tramp, Strokemon, SpongeKnob SquareNuts) started its “Ask a Porn Star” series, the potential for subject matter was endless. Who better to answer the public’s secret, burning questions about sex than the experts who do it professionally?

This time around, Woodrocket asked a coterie of lovely sex stars to put an end to a growing controversy: Is squirting just pee? The performers tackled the question, drawing on first-hand experience to set the record straight. Turns out, squirt—that cutesy euphemism for female ejaculate—isn’t pee, because it tastes different. Yes, you read that right: Most of the porn stars in the video said they could tell the difference between pee and squirt because they had tasted both.

“Squirt tastes like sugar water,” says porn performer Jenna J. Ross in the video. “There’s a very distinctive flavor profile difference between urine and squirt.”

Not everyone has the experience and authority to answer these types of questions, but you can bet on porn stars. Besides, squirting is no minor fetish—it’s big business. In 2014, according to stats-tracker Pornhub Insights, “squirt” was the seventh-most searched term, beating out old standbys such as “anal,” “threesome,” and “teacher.”

Still, not every porn star agrees on what squirt is comprised of. Watch and decide for yourself.
