People are actually paying for porn from an accused abuser

Chad Johnson, a former Bachelorette contestant, is making headlines for pursuing a career in porn amid multiple accusations of domestic violence.

Johnson competed in season 12 of ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2016. In the years since, he mostly remained under the radar––until his arrest in late February. He is now facing multiple misdemeanor charges for domestic violence. In the midst of these charges, Johnson has announced that he is pivoting to porn.

ABC showed highlights of Johnson’s season on Monday night and included a talking segment where former housemates discussed him, prompting renewed interest in the celebrity and his porn career.

He seems set on making the shift permanent, saying he planned to debut a Las Vegas “porn compound” this time next year, according to a discussion with Daily Mail.

Johnson told TooFab that he’d “screwed up 1000%.” He admitted to drinking excessively before his former girlfriend Annalise Mishler called the police.

In a video that Mishler recorded as proof, a huge hole can be seen in the wall after Johnson reportedly punched it. The video also shows him yelling and cursing at her.

TMZ reported that when the police arrived Mishler had visible red marks on her face. He was arrested on charges of domestic violence and robbery. The robbery charges were filed against him because he allegedly grabbed her phone when she attempted to call for help.

Because of the fact that he’s literally an accused abuser, several sponsors refuse to make deals with him; however, it appears that at least some porn viewers don’t seem to care about the accusations.

In the months since his arrest, his pivot to porn appears to have been motivated, at least initially, by a need for money. Apparently, people aren’t paying attention to the fact that Johnson has been accused of domestic abuse and that purchasing porn from him could go toward his legal case, because following the debut of his OnlyFans account, Johnson told Daily Mail he was pulling in “thousands of dollars” a month.

At the time of Johnson’s arrest, Mishler said it wasn’t the first time that Johnson was violent with her.

When his case finally makes it to court, Johnson could face up to six years in jail, according to Daily Mail.
