On July 2, 1937 Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan disappeared over the Pacific Ocean while attempting to make the first round-the-world flight at the equator. Their disappearance has capitvated the world ever since. Earhart is still a hero to many. Etsy honors her with crafts and other items.
