CBS has yet to reveal the title or cast of its upcoming Star Trek series, but it already posted the show’s first teaser trailer.

With former Star Trek: Deep Space 9 and Voyager writer Bryan Fuller at the helm, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the new series, which is due to air in 2017.

The teaser promises “New Crews. New Villains. New Heroes. New Worlds,” distancing itself from Paramount’s reboot movie franchise, which has no connection with the CBS show. We also get our first look at the new logo, a riff on the classic Starfleet badge.

This teaser also functions as handy a litmus test for the intensity of your own love of Star Trek. Sure, all it really shows is the Starfleet symbol, some CGI planets, and a version of the Star Trek theme music. But if this makes you feel a little bit teary-eyed, just think how many feels you’ll have when the actual show begins in 2017.
