As the Daily Dot’s resident grammar aficionado, I live every day like it’s National Punctuation Day.

Three times this year, I’ve sprung grammar and style quizzes on our editorial staff—usually to a chorus of sighs and panic I choose to interpret as relief and exhilaration, respectively. Today, our readers get the chance to get in on the action too.

Every Sept. 24 since 2004, we celebrate National Punctuation Day as a day of awareness, appreciation, and adoration of those tiny ticks and swooshes that make English make sense.
