We’ve had more than a year to get the song Let It Go out of our heads, so naturally it’s time for Disney to curse us with a new earworm. The first images from Frozen‘s mini-sequel have just been posted online, and the real thing will be arriving sooner than you may think.

Frozen Fever reunites the main cast, directors, and songwriters from Frozen for a short film that will screen before Disney’s Cinderella. The animated short tells the story of Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf preparing for Anna’s birthday party. It also features a new song by the writers of Let It Go. In this featurette, directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee give us a glimpse of the film.

Cinderella comes out on March 13, and we’re sure Frozen Fever will tempt more people to see the movie in theaters.

Rumors have swirled like falling snow about a full-length Frozen sequel, but Disney has yet to comment on the matter. Fans should remain optimistic, however. This kind of animated film takes a long time to make, and films like Toy Story and How To Train Your Dragon both inspired short films before full-length sequels were released.
