If only we’d had a crystal ball to warn us that Destiny had no chance in hell of living up to the expectations. Snarking on the game is such good medicine.

Smosh Games’s Honest Trailers series take all the goodness of a Hollywood movie trailer complete with that classic movie trailer-guy voice, and provide video game trailers that even though they are long after the fact of a game’s release, shed light on what a video game actually is.

In this case, Smosh Games has targeted Destiny, the video game that seems to have let down everyone on the face of Gamerdom. And this latest entry in the Honest Trailers series absolutely nails what’s wrong with Destiny.

“Play through the video game equivalent of a beautiful mansion, filled with cheap IKEA furniture.”

To irs credit, Bungie is slowly fixing the problems that plague their newest game. It’s a work in progress. Of course, none of the Destiny trailers told us to expect a work in progress.
