No one told the Avengers life was gonna be this way.

You wouldn’t think the classic TV show Friends and the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Age of Ultron had all that much in common—aside from their New York setting—but strip away the comic-book feats for a second and you’ll realize, courtesy of Jeremiah Rivera’s mashup video, that they’re not all that different.

You’ve got the rich one, the oblivious one, the quirky one, the neurotic one, and the girl—with plenty of arguments about which one is which. And the chemistry is palpable with just about every pair imaginable. Just put the Avengers in Central Perk between villain-beating sessions and you’ve got yourself a superpowered sitcom.

Or put all of those 20-somethings in suits and watch the shenanigans unfold.
