Cards Against Humanity describes itself as “a party game for horrible people.” Its creator, Sid Lee Collective, decided to make another one this year: This time, “a party game about a horrible person.”

Sid Lee Collective designed “Trump against Humanity” using Trump’s most famous derogatory sentences and words. But amid demand for the viral game, legal red tape sidelined its launch.

The project was Jeffrey Da Silva’s idea, the executive director of Sid Lee. He got the idea “around the beginning of the primaries. There was a period of about two or three weeks when there was just a massive amount of lines [Trump had said] in the news,” Da Silva told the Daily Dot in May. “We were watching CNN at night, we were watching clips on YouTube and Fox News and everything. We had a bunch of team members scouring the Internet for the best line. We made a short list and we put them into the cards.”

Unfortunately, the viral game was never actually sold.

According to the Sid Lee Collective site, it was due to legal reasons.

Looking for clarification on what legal reasons prevented the distribution of this game, the Daily Dot reached out to Sid Lee Collective but it could not immediately be reached for comment.
