Reddit’s war against Republican Lamar Smith has jumped from cyberspace to Texas.

The site’s now funded not one but two billboards that attack the sponsor of the Stop Online Piracy Act in his congressional home district.

Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian announced Thursday morning that his “Don’t mess with the Internet” billboard campaign has already met its fundraising goal of $15,000—just two days after launching.

Meanwhile, Reddit’s very own Political Action Committee, Test PAC: Please Ignore, is also planning to go after Smith with some highway signage. The group is only $1,000 shy of their goal, Test PAC’s lead advisor, Scott Bloomberg told the Daily Dot. (Neither campaign has settled on a design.)

Let’s be honest: the Republican congressman isn’t likely to be left quivering in his cowboy boots thanks to a couple billboards sent from the Internet.

But this is just the beginning. Test PAC told the Daily Dot earlier this week that they’re planning to launch a 30-second television ad that will soon air in San Antonio.

Beware, representative Smith: The Internet is coming.
