White House Adviser Kellyanne Conway seemed quick to feel the love this Valentine’s Day—arguably too quick.

Twitter user Lib Hypocrisy on Tuesday praised Conway’s “strength and resiliency in the face of vile hatred, bigotry, & sexism of the unhinged left,” and then declared “love you!” Conway replied with an appropriate “love you back,” and retweeted the message.

A quick glance at Lib Hypocrisy’s Twitter bio, though, shows that Conway professed love to a white nationalist.

BuzzFeed News reporter Mike Hayes first picked up on the tweet Tuesday afternoon, posting screengrabs before Conway deleted it.

Next to the username sits a small frog icon, which could refer to Pepe the Frog, an internet symbol adopted by white supremacists. “Hate Anti-American Liberals, Marxists, & Commies,” the bio reads, followed by “WhiteIdentity” and “Nationalist” hashtags.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Conway said she didn’t know who had access to her account, and that she “obviously” didn’t know who Lib Hypocrisy was.

“I denounce whoever it is,” Conway told BuzzFeed. “It will be immediately deleted. Everybody makes mistakes.”
