Instagram added another strange camera format in time for Halloween, and it’s on track to be the best video feature since Face Swap.
Dubbed “Superzoom,” the new feature does a dramatic three-step zoom into your face with creepy sound effects adding to the suspense.
To use the feature, press the camera icon and select “Superzoom” next to “Boomerang” on the bottom of your display. From there, just press and hold the record button or tap it once to make a three-second clip.
Early reactions to the feature have been positive, with users calling it “epic” and the best thing since Boomerang. Check out some of the videos people are posting.

Instagram also added some spooky Halloween-themed face filters and stickers that let you turn yourself into a zombie, vampire, or flying bat.
The new features will be rolling out on iOS and Android soon.
