It’s June, so you know what that means: It’s Pride month. As real-world celebrations kick off around the globe, you can also show your support online. Specifically, you can share your Facebook pride with new masks, themes, and reactions.
There are more than 76,000 Facebook Groups (with more than 12 million combined members) that currently support the LGBTQ community. And over the coming month, more than 1.5 million people plan to attend some of the 7,500 Pride events scheduled on the social network.

If you can’t attend (or even if you can), you can still show LGBTQ friends your support. It may not feel like much, but at a time when our nation feels so divided, perhaps, in a small way, it can help show some love.
How to update your Facebook profile picture
One of the quickest and most visible ways to show your #Pride this month is by updating your profile picture. If you head to https://facebook.com/celebratepride after June 11, you’ll see Facebook’s latest Pride-themed profile frame. (If you head to that site sooner, you can still update your profile with a user-uploaded Pride frame.) You can also check out the new frame by tapping the Edit button on your profile picture.
How to use the pride reaction on Facebook posts
This month, Facebook is also giving users a new reaction for posts: a rainbow flag. Beginning June 9, you can react to posts not just with likes or laughter. You can tap a rainbow flag reaction to share your pride and solidarity. To access this new reaction, you’ve got to first like Facebook’s official LGBTQ page.
Share the rainbow on Facebook Messenger
There are also a handful of Pride-ful updates on Facebook Messenger. When you share a photo, you can dowse it in a rainbow filter and other fun effects. Facebook Messenger will also be introducing new Pride-themed stickers, like you see above.

Similarly, Instagram has its own set of Pride-themed stickers you can insert into Stories. It also has a rainbow effect you can add to photos on Stories. You can customize its position and its size so it brightens up your image perfectly.
