The attack is an oldie but goodie.

Donald Trump can’t stop living in the past, presumably so he can try to influence people in the future.

On Sunday morning, Trump blasted Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee’s bias toward getting her the presidential nomination and stopping Bernie Sanders from earning it. It’s a position that cost former DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz her job.

And yes, the election has been over for seven months. But on Sunday, with Trump reeling from the constant news that he and others in his administration are under FBI investigation for possibly colluding with Russia, he went back to one of his favorite Twitter attacks.

Of course, as CNN’s Brian Stelter points out, Clinton clinched the nomination 383 days ago, so Trump’s line of attack is rather stale. On Saturday, Trump also seemed to admit that Russia had, in fact, meddled in the election, after saying for the past seven months that the country hadn’t.

Meanwhile, Sanders’s supporters have sued the DNC, saying it improperly favored Clinton over Sanders during the primary.
