Update 8:55am CT, Sept. 25: The alleged gunman was arrested late Saturday. He has been identified as 20-year-old Arcan Cetin. The FBI says that while a motive remains unclear, authorities do not have evidence that points to terrorism, or that any other similar attacks are planned in the state.

A shooting occurred at a Burlington, Washington, mall on Friday night, claiming the lives of at least five victims and injured one.

Initially, authorities had estimated that at least four people were dead. That number has since been revised. Of the fatalities, all are women. Both of the injured are men, one of whom was in critical, life-threatening condition but succumbed to his wounds early Saturday morning, according to the Seattle Times.

Shortly after 7pm PT, a suspect opened fire in Cascade Mall and fled before officers responded. Burlington is located 66 miles north of Seattle and is located about an hour from the Canadian border.

A mobile command center was set up at 8pm and authorities began sweeping Macy’s, where the incident allegedly occurred in the makeup department, in addition to officers guarding mall entrances.

According to the Skagit Valley Herald, a potential male suspect was seen dressed in grey clothing and headed toward Interstate 5.

As of this writing, the suspect is still at large.

Update 11:04am CT Sept. 24: More information and photos have been released regarding the possible suspect.
