Super Tuesday results are starting to come in. Former Vice President Joe Biden has a commanding lead in Virginia. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is going to pull out in his home state of Vermont.
And in one of the more unexpected early results, billionaire former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has pulled out his first victory.
It’s American Samoa.
Collectively, the internet has said: “Huh?”
Bloomberg has put nearly a billion dollars in his effort to win the Democratic primary, and for that, he will likely be awarded four of American Samoa’s six delegates.
Just 1,987 to go to get the nomination.
