Plenty of people have already bought the Apple Watch, but it takes a special kind of Apple diehard to put the watch in between a couple of magnets in order to witness its destruction.

TechRax, an individual who specializes in “smashing technology for your own pleasure,” has decided the Internet needed to witness the ghost of 10,000 Benjamins leave the body of an unsuspecting 18-karat yellow gold Apple Watch Edition. As you can see below, the deadly blow is delivered through 650 pounds of force dealt by two powerful neodymium magnets.

After you’re done mourning the myriad other ways one might spend a cool $10,000, feel free to replay this moment with fiendish delight:

Fanboys, on the other hand, would probably prefer to focus on the practical side. “The gold in general actually did really good,” TechRax said, upon reviewing his experiment. “I feel like if you really clean it off, you’re not going to see too many scratches at all.” Remarkably, the thing still charges.
