Good grief! Vans’ new Peanuts line is adorable

Lucy's going to need more nickels for this.

I can’t stand it! Vans launched its 2017 summer collaboration today, and it’s cute enough to cheer up even Charlie Brown himself.

The Vans Peanuts line includes shoes, clothing, and accessories for both kids and grown ups, who will definitely “WAMP-WAMP-WAMP” in joy about it.

The shoes feature some of your favorite characters, including Woodstock and Snoopy. (There’s also Joe Cool and Pearl, if you prefer.) One pair has the entire Peanuts gang printed, though we regret to inform you they are not busting those pre-Christmas play dance moves.

Fans of the Old Skool Vans style will love the homage to Charlie Brown’s iconic yellow shirt, featuring his famous line, “Good grief!” on the tongues. There’s even a pair of high-top moccasins that feature Snoopy’s familiar red dog house/fighter plane.

Last summer, Vans did a collaboration with Nintendo, which was equally delightful. Sizes and styles also sold out faster than Lucy whipping a football from under Charlie Brown’s feet. So don’t be a blockhead and shop quickly if you want a pair.

Prices range from $65 to $90 for the shoes, which is no different than Vans’ usual line. If that’s too many nickels for your taste, the clothing and accessories are cheaper.

One cool new addition to this summer’s collaboration is customization. Select shoe designs in the Peanuts collection, like this Old-Skool style, can be designed with your choice of different patterns and colors. You can customize just about any part of the shoe.

Merry early Christmas, Charlie Brown. We’ll take all of them.
