Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) just became Twitch’s newest streamer on Friday.

OK, it’s really just three of Sanders’ campaign staffers–Josh Miller-Lewis, Briahna Gray, and Bill Neidhardt–discussing the presidential hopeful’s presence in the recent Democratic debate.

There have only been two streams so far–a Democratic debate pre-game and post-show. Both of which had about 12,000 viewers tune in to watch.

This makes Sanders the first presidential candidate to join Twitch, most likely in an effort to reach younger voters. He has already amassed a hefty following of 70,000 users. Yet, the only account he is following is the Washington Post.

The only glimpse viewers have gotten of Sanders was a pre-recorded video of him discussing debate details in the first stream.

The consensus? Viewers want more of Sanders.

“Show Bernie, show Bernie, show Bernie,” one user chanted in the chat. “We want Bernie, we want Bernie, we want Bernie,” another demanded.

The chat is also flooded with users begging Sanders to play Fortnite or Minecraft. If he does, Sanders might just successfully tap into the gaming demographic.
