UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will not defend his title in front of his native fans in Melbourne, Australia. Just hours before UFC 234, Whittaker was pulled from the event over a hernia he suffered late last night.

It’s a massive blow for Whittaker, his opponent Kelvin Gastelum, and fans everywhere, but UFC 234 should still be a great pay-per-view event. Israel Adesanya vs. Anderson Silva will now be the main event.

UFC 234 live stream: How to watch online
You don’t need to have cable to watch UFC 234. There are, in fact, plenty of ways to stream it online. But no matter how you stream it, UFC pay-per-views are always the same price: $54.99 for standard definition or $64.99 for high definition. It’s worth noting that the following options are only applicable to the five fights on the PPV. To watch the preliminary bouts, you’ll need to have UFC’s Fight Pass and ESPN (both are covered below).
It should be noted that the UFC’s agreement with DirecTV has expired. Though the UFC said it’s working on a new deal with DirecTV, UFC 234 won’t be shown on the cable provider.
