Barcelona brings its five-point La Liga lead to the Camp Nou on Sunday, where the Catalan giants will host 13th-placed Leganes. Leganes defeated Barcelona 2-1 in their previous game back in September, so Ernesto Valverde’s team will be hungry for revenge against the Madrid-based club. Barcelona vs. Leganes: Why it matters

Barcelona has already avoided catastrophe once this week, after reports came out that the club could be kicked out of the Copa del Rey due to fielding an ineligible youth team player against Levante in December. But with all the eligible starters playing this weekend, there should be no issues for Barcelona against bottom-half Leganes. It will be interesting to see what Valverde does with the ever-changing Dembele-Coutinho starter logjam, but that will be on the back pages because the front will be about a resounding Barca win. Barcelona 3, Leganes 0.
