When it comes to Latin artists, it’s hard to find someone more prolific than Selena Quintanilla. Her catchy tunes like “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” captivated the ’90s, and even after her untimely death at the age of 23, fans still treasure her as one of Tejano’s greatest influences. And now, she’s the subject of a new Netflix scripted series.

The streaming service is teaming up with the Quintanilla family to tell the superstar’s story to a new generation of fans. It’s titled Selena: The Series. No release date or episode count has been announced yet, but Netflix did tweet a teaser trailer Wednesday bearing Selena’s signature logo and the lyrics to one of her most famous (and catchiest) songs.

In no time at all, hashtags like #SelenaVive, which translates to “Selena lives” in Spanish, and #AnythingforSelenas began flooding Twitter, proving her fanbase is no less dedicated to the pop star after all these years. Twitter users reacted with a mix of shock, excitement, and maybe a few tears.

Several brought up the 1997 biopic Selena and wondered if whomever Netflix picks to play Selena will stack up to Jennifer Lopez’s performance.

Above all, people have just one request for Netflix: Don’t fuck this up.
