The fight between YouTube celebs KSI and Jake Paul is probably dead. But according to KSI, the prospect of a boxing match vs. Logan Paul is very much alive.

According to a vlog posted Thursday by the British-born KSI, his team is in negotiations with Logan Paul to fight this August in London. Speculation has run rampant on social media that the two YouTubers had agreed to a match, but KSI said it hadn’t been confirmed.

“It’s not 100 percent. So, everyone, calm the fuck down,” KSI said. “It just means we’re talking. That’s it.”

KSI, coming off an exciting third-round technical knockout of Joe Weller that attracted 22 million views across both YouTubers’ channels, had recently posted a video in which he said fans could vote on his next opponent. The poll of potential opponents included prank artist Adam Saleh (3.7 million subscribers), former Vine star Alex Wassabi (12.6 million subscribers across two channels), and prankster fouseyTUBE (10.3 million).

But with bigger subscription bases for KSI (18.2 million) and Logan Paul (16.7 million)—and with Paul’s recent Japanese “suicide forest” and tasering-a-dead-rat controversies—a fight between these two pugilists would likely be the biggest boxing event to be streamed on YouTube in the platform’s history.

After defeating Weller, KSI started a feud with the Paul brothers, calling them out in a postfight interview and saying they could have a shot to take his YouTube boxing championship belt.

From there, KSI and Jake Paul went back and forth with vlogs, and ultimately, Jake Paul challenged KSI’s brother, Deji, to a fight.

Though Logan Paul has been less vocal than his younger brother about KSI’s challenge, he posted a video this week saying he would be taking a week off from daily vlogging while he attended to other projects, including “some music stuff” and a future podcast. He also said he was flying to Las Vegas, which happens to be the home of boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather—who already said he would train Jake Paul for the KSI fight and who has a boxing promotion company.

Earlier this week, a video showing Logan Paul training at what appeared to be Mayweather’s gym appeared online.

Despite whoever KSI’s fan base votes for him to fight, KSI will pick Logan Paul if they can come to an agreement, even if that means he’ll be in with a tougher opponent.

“If anything Logan is going to be harder to fight because he’s taller than me and I guess bigger than me,” KSI said. “He’s got a longer reach and he’s got some previous fighting experience. It doesn’t look good.”

Unless you’re talking about the two YouTubers’ wallets. In that case, a KSI-Logan Paul fight would be financially fruitful for all involved.
