Next week, one woman will make history in the Marine Corps as the military branch’s first female infantry officer.

According to the Washington Post, the female lieutenant and her male peers will be graduating from the corps’ 13-week infantry officer program on Monday and will be the first woman to pass the course of the three dozen who have previously attempted. The course sees a 25 percent failure rate and is seen some of the most rigorous military training.

Upon graduation, the first female infantry officer is expected to lead a platoon of infantry Marines. However, it is unlikely she will do any media interviews, according to officials, as she is a “quiet professional.”
