In YouTube Right Now, the Daily Dot looks at videos that catch our eyes, push our buttons, and move our dials—and that you’ve just got to watch. Right now!

Mystery Morgan Freeman impersonator, you had us at “Rehabilitated.”

Speaking in the legendary actor’s distinguished monotone, YouTube user ImprovrishedActing delivered Freeman’s defiant monologue from The Shawshank Redemption to YouTube yesterday in a 1:12 video that’s already accrued over 7,300 views and landed on Reddit this morning, where it’s gathered 350 comments and will likely shoot up the ranks throughout the day.

The video’s gained enough attention in its first day to warrant a new video, “Taking Requests: What do you want to hear Mr. Freeman say?“, an eight-second video that has ImprovishedActing simply saying the word “Sprinkles.”

No telling how long this guy’s identity will remain a mystery, but perhaps that’s part of the charm. After all, close your eyes and you’re basically hearing Morgan Freeman.

Or, as ImprovishedActing’s first video from last week details, Alan Alda, Michael Caine, or James Earl Jones.
