Back in July, New York rap heroes A Tribe Called Quest were immortalized with a mural on the side of Nu Clear Dry Cleaners. Site of the group's iconic "Check the Rhime" video, the Queens mural is located near the recently renamed Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor Way.

(Previously, Linden Boulevard and 192nd Street in the St. Albans neighborhood.)

Band luminary Phife Dawg passed away in March due to complications from diabetes, prompting the tribute. Watch a short documentary on the mural's evolution:
