Hats off to the props department for this one.

This cast is a real crowd-pleaser.

In a new promo for this week's show, the Saturday Night Live cast and host and former cast member Kristen Wiig cashed in on one of the internet's most popular trends, the Mannequin Challenge.

The promo is punctuated with award-winning poses: Aidy Bryant keeping a bubble gum bubble inflated, Pete Davidson leaning back in his chair as a Coke bottle explodes, featured player Alex Moffat crying over a spilling can of paint, and David S. Pumpkins' rousing skeletons just being adorable.

You can also see Kate McKinnon dressed as the gut-busting alien abductee—maybe a taste of what's to come this weekend?

Call me crazy, but is it really a genuine Mannequin Challenge if you have the resources of a multibillion dollar company and a professional props team? Just saying.
Kate McKinnon's rendition of 'Hallelujah' on 'SNL' will blow you away
With Alec Baldwin spending so much time this year playing Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, you can forgive the show’s writers if they thought Baldwin’s role on the series wouldn’t last much past this week’s episode. But, in case you haven’t heard, Trump is now the president-elect, and the series will have to reckon with finding a suitable impressionist who can play him for the next four years.
