For the Valentine who has everything, there’s still Ryan Gosling.
At DrunkGirlDesigns, Gosling’s chiseled face is embellished with pink hearts and the star’s ubiquitous “Hey Girl.” The Daily Dot knows from compiling our Gosblr (Ryan Gosling Tumblr index), that there’s a Gosling fantasy for everyone. Perhaps this one is yours.
These dreamy prints are the work of Heather Perry, a graphic designer by day and Sin City Rollergirl by night (you can see her tough-as-nails portrait in the top row, far right.) When she’s not pushing pixels or skating over the competition at the derby, she’s hard at work on her Etsy shop. Perry’s been preparing for Valentine’s Day sales for two months.
“Etsy sellers are always looking toward the next holiday—the Valentine’s Day buzz started before Christmas, no joke!” she told the Daily Dot in an email.
Perry’s signature Valentine’s Day prints, three hunky depictions of our favorite romantic comedy lead, were envisioned with her female friends in mind.
“I think that Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity for women to show the other women in their life that you value their friendship by doing something nice for them,” she said. “My Ryan Gosling prints are small, cute, and silly! They also don’t look overly seasonal, so they can be on display all year.”
Perry plans to celebrate Valentine’s Day with “lots of chocolate and silliness” in her all-female office at her day job, and then chatting on the phone with her fiancé in Los Angeles, where she will be joining him later this year.
“The best way to spend Valentine’s Day is by being goofy, when you build up a day expecting lots of romance someone always ends up disappointed!” she said. “I like to keep it light and low key and be thankful for all the wonderful relationships in my life.”
