Expert-level sleuthing.

Welp, there's one more tally for the "Drake and Rihanna are probably dating" column.

The rapper and pop singer flew New York tattoo artist Bang Bang down to Miami Wednesday night to give them some ink during Drake's stop on the Summer Sixteen tour. While it's unclear what Drake got tattooed, the artist Instagrammed Rihanna with a camouflage shark on her left ankle.

The choice of imagery may seem innocuous enough to most people (after all, Rih has other animal-themed tattoos already), but fans were quick to piece together another theory: The shark is in honor of a stuffed animal Drake gave her earlier this summer.

The pair reportedly paid a visit to Ripley's Aquarium of Canada a few weeks ago, and at the end of the trip Drake presented Rih with a camouflage stuffed shark from the gift shop.

The aquarium verified the report today with a tweet promoting the stuffed animals:
More impressive still, this also appears to be the same stuffed shark that was present in Drake's Instagram a couple hours after Sunday's Video Music Awards (where he now-famously went in for a kiss with the pop star and got curved). Ignore the two attractive people in this picture and you can spot it:

So even though Drake didn't get a kiss at the VMAs, something fishy suggests the pair could still be more than friends.

Rihanna can't wink—or is that what the lizard people want us to think?
A viral Twitter thread has turned Rihanna fans into GIF -scrutinizing detectives. It suggests that Rihanna, a living goddess who is capable of swerving on Drake himself, is incapable of winking.
