Liz Phair and Best Coast will headline “Don’t Sit Down: A Planned Parenthood Benefit,” which will take place at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre on March 4. All of the proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
The all-ages rock benefit will also feature pop-rockers GroupLove, garage band Lovely Bad Things, grunge-pop quartet Veruca Salt, a DJ set from the punk-rockers in Wavves, and more.
Best Coast and other performers expressed their excitement for the benefit on Twitter, sharing their appreciation for Planned Parenthood and the resources it provides to women.
“It’s no secret I stand w/ @PPact & always have,” Best Coast wrote on Twitter. “That’s why I rallied some amazing people together to put on this benefit.”
