Wedding toasts can be great, terrible, or anywhere in-between, but one man put on a hell of a showstopper to toast off his sister and her new husband that will sure leave all of us satisfied.

Instead of telling the audience how Jenna ad Ross Drucker met, fell in love, and got engaged, Matt Rotner—brother of the bride—channeled Hamilton to deliver an informative and ingenious toast for the ages. His family loves Broadway musicals, including Hamilton, which the Rotners saw in October 2015, shortly after Jenna and Ross became engaged.

“I turned to my mom and said, ‘Well, I know exactly what I’m doing for the wedding,’” Rotner told the Huffington Post. “I thought, ‘Hey, I might not be able to sing well anymore, but I know I can write these rhymes and put on one hell of a show.’”

And that he did, with the bride and groom as well as the audience fully in the swing of things, and by the end they’re more invested in the story than ever before. And fortunately, Rotner did not use the Hamilton song with an actual toast.

He did not throw away his shot.
