Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have not appeared on-screen together on Game of Thrones since season 1, but that hasn’t stopped them from being the best of friends.

These fictional sisters are pretty much inseparable in real life, and now they’ve got the ink to prove it.

Turner and Williams got matching tattoos on their forearms of the date they got the call that they’d been cast in Thrones. Williams got the simple “07.08.09” date inked in black, while Sophie Turner went for peach.

“She’s one of my best friends in the whole world, we got matching tattoos the other day,” Turner told E! News on the 2016 Emmys red carpet. “The date was always really significant and we’ve always kind of said… If we make it all the way through, hopefully we could all get a matching wolf or something, but we don’t know if we’re going to make it, so Maisie and I were like, ‘Let’s get these ones before someone kills us.’”

Hopefully this doesn’t mean we’ll be saying goodbye to either Arya or Sansa in season 7. Even worse, let’s pray we’re not going to lose both sisters in some sort of tragic Stark slaughter.

We’ll remain optimistic and hope their on-screen counterparts are this close when Game of Thrones returns for Season 7, since Arya has finally returned to Westeros and Sansa is finally in a position to welcome her sister home.

The series returns summer 2017.
