The campus’s 2,000-plus undergrads have been lobbying for the rap superstar to make an appearance since 2009. In the early Wednesday morning hours, Drizzy finally obliged. Too bad no one was there to take in his perfectly forged rap squat right in the heart of the school.

This year students rallied around the #BringDraketoDrake hashtag.

Even school officials invited the rapper to campus, targeting Tuesday’s tour date.

“We would like to take this opportunity to invite Drizzy for a tour of campus, where we’re confident he will enjoy the ‘Views,’” the university wrote in a statement. "We’ll be waiting for that hotline to bling!"
