Proving once again that TMZ is basically the celebrity branch of the NSA, the site today released footage that might be even more incendiary than the Solange/Jay Z elevator fight: DMX screaming on an amusement park ride.
The footage shows DMX and a friend strapped into the Sling Shot ride at Orlando’s Magical Midway, which has been hailed as “one of the most heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, exhilarating thrill ride experiences in Central Florida.” The ride “lowers you into the heart” of a volcano, then shoots you into the sky as it begins to erupt. As the two are lowered, DMX lets loose with a gruff “what,” in an attempt to mentally prepare himself. He looks anxious, like he knows there’s no time to stop or drop, let alone shut ‘em down or open up shop.
“Hurry up, before I change my mind,” DMX barks at no one in particular. After he’s catapulted, he realizes there’s a camera, and that the footage is immediately being downloaded to TMZ HQ.
This is almost as good as his rendition of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
